HIV Treatment & Care Services

We are aware some people have received a text message from the government advising people to stay at home for 12 weeks. Note national guidance for people living with HIV is this ONLY applies to those with a CD4 count <50 (see ) This only relates to a very small proportion of people living with HIV but it appears the text message has been sent to many with good CD4 counts. If you are unsure of your CD4 count then please contact the clinic, otherwise follow the advice on the link above.

For up to date information regarding coronavirus for our patients living with HIV, please visit the Terrence Higgins Trust website

As far as we know there are no shortages of HIV medication and are working with all our services to maintain access to treatment. This may mean for some stable patients a prescription without a doctor review. We will contact you prior to your appointment if this is the case.

For the protection of our staff and other patients, please do not visit a clinic if you have symptoms of coronovirus - see for further NHS COVID-19 information
