Light it Red

To round off #WorldAIDSDay it has been fantastic to see some of the iconic locations in the axess local areas glowing red. ♥️😊

If you're out and about, check out the Liver Building, St George's Hall, The World Museum, M62 footbridge (Knowsley), the Mersey Gateway Bridge (Halton), the brand new Royal Liverpool Hospital, and many more!!

We're so grateful for the support World AIDS Day has had today.👏🙌

Transgender Day of Remembrance

As #transawarenessweek comes to a close, it finishes with #transdayofremembrance - a day to honour all of the transgender people whose lives have been lost to prejudice and violence.

To our trans community, we stand firmly alongside you. We will continue to support you and strive for full inclusion and trans equality. 💗💙🤍

Don't forget if you would like to learn more about how you can be a trans ally, check out our downloadable resource (link in story).

Trans Awareness Week

Happy #transawarenessweek 🏳️‍⚧️😊

As trans allies, we'd like to celebrate our trans community and show our commitment to caring for and supporting individual needs.

As a service, we launched a walk-in option for our Butterfly clinic in Liverpool this week. This is a dedicated clinic offering free and confidential sexual health services to trans and non-binary folk, and we hope this enables easier access to the service.

We are also sharing the axess resource, 'How to be a trans ally' (link in story). Please download to find out ways in which we can all show our support to the trans community!

We stand with you!

It's North West Sexual Violence Awareness Week!

axess are proud to support #NWSVweek, and will be attending a variety of events in order to raise awareness of sexual violence, and the support services available.

This awareness week aims to reassure survivors, and anyone supporting them, that they will be listened to without judgement, and to educate individuals on how they can access support.

So, if you or someone you know is a victim of sexual violence, you can find local support and information via sexualviolencesupport.co.uk

Please remember, there is support available and no one should ever have to suffer in silence!
