This month is LGBT+ History Month.
We've been asking the axess team five questions about their work and how it supports the LGBT+ community.
Peter, who works for @GeorgeHouseTrst within axess, spoke to us about providing support to LGBT+ service users, and why Miriam Margolyes is his icon.
📢 Important notice:
Between 26-28 February, axess services may be affected by industrial action.
We may be running at a lower capacity during this time.
Please be patient, we will see you as soon as we can.
If you can't make it to your appointment, please let us know.
Our staff won't mind if you can't make it, and letting us know in advance gives us the opportunity to see more patients.
We'd love your help.
Just reply with the word CANCEL to your appointment reminder text, and we will know you're not coming.
One word in one text will help us to see as many patients as possible.

This week (5-11 February) is National HIV Testing Week. Our Outreach Team will be offering free point-of-care testing (POCT) across the axess footprint.
If you spot our team out in the community, feel free to say hi and ask about HIV. They're happy to answer any questions you may have.
You can also order a home testing kit from the axess website via the link in our bio. HIV testing is quick, free and easy. Anyone diagnosed with HIV in the UK can access free, effective treatment and support.
