Smears are available:
All of these clinics are open as a walk-in, meaning you don't need an appointment to be seen.
The screening programme recommends smears every three years, up to age 50, and every five years after you turn 50.
Your invite to have a smear test is by letter, so it is important that your GP has your up-to-date address, or you may not receive your invite.
You do not need to bring your screening letter but you must be due or the screen can not be processed. Staff from any postcode can attend and you must bring your NHS staff ID, and your NHS number, if you have it.
