Important changes to our Liverpool City Centre service

From 30th October, except for urgent walk-in care on Saturdays, and some specialist clinics (axess 4 u and Butterfly), The Beat in Liverpool City Centre will no longer offer a walk-in service. This will enable increased provision of appointments for routine care.

Walk-in services will be available Monday-Friday at the Linda McCartney Centre, Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and Saturday for urgent walk-in care at The Beat.

Booked appointments will be available throughout the week at The Beat, the Linda McCartney Centre, and South Liverpool Treatment Centre.

If you’re attending our axess 4 u or Butterfly clinics you can still walk-in to The Beat and be seen during these clinics’ respective opening hours.

However, these clinics, along with our PrEP Express clinic and Sexual Problems Service, will be relocating around the corner from their regular location on Hanover Street.

These clinics will be accessed via our entrance on David Lewis Street. Click here for directions from our previous entrance to our new location.

These changes will allow us more clinic space and nursing staff to run the clinics.
